Exeter Chiefs Foundation

The Exeter Chiefs Foundation is a charity that exists with the sole aim of helping other charities.

All of the money we raise is donated to worthy causes in and around the city with a focus on supporting ‘tangible’ investments.

As well as deciding on how the charity’s money is shared, the trustees organise a number of fund-raising events each year including the prestigious Devon Sports Awards, as well as pre-season and end of season gala dinners.

All charities in the greater Exeter area are able to apply for funds, either from an annual designated pot of money, or one-off donations.

Whether you are a charity, organisation or independent project, anybody within the greater Exeter area can apply for a project grant.

Established in 2011, The Exeter Foundation was formed by the Executive of Exeter Rugby Club with some local businessmen with a passion for fundraising and rugby. Since inception, the charity has raised nearly £2m and helped over 120 projects, charities and organisations.

Chaired by Exeter Chiefs’ Chairman, Tony Rowe OBE, the Exeter Chiefs Foundation is a charity that exists to assist and enhance the lives of the local community.

GivingBack with Collection Pot

The Foundation has partnered with Collection Pot to raise additional funds for charities and organisations in our community – it’s really easy to use and every time you create a Collection Pot we benefit, it’s as simple as that!

So if you’ve got a collection to organise at work, perhaps someone is getting married, having a baby, retiring or maybe moving on to pastures new – set up a Pot for them and help the community too

  • It’s easy, quick and free to create a Collection Pot
  • Add our GivingBack code ECF-001
  • When the Pot closes, the recipient gets the full value of the Pot to spend how they want
  • The good people at Collection Pot will then send the Foundation 2% of the final total
  • It’s simple – the more Pots that are created with our GivingBack code added, the more we get to spend on supporting local charities
