Hybrid working? No problem!

– Slack channels or other employee message boards work well for companywide greetings, but also allow you to single out individuals and personally thank them. “Hi (NAME), just reaching you on here as I am not sending cards but wanted to wish you a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year.”

– WhatsApp groups or working Facebook groups also allow you to give the gift that keeps on giving – a gif. This is best to ensure no one is missed from your greetings and allows you to reduce the words down to none! The dancing grinch says it all.  

– Christmas cards to their home – If your colleagues are working from home, this now requires some forward planning. Your HR team might not want to give out personal data, so why not see if you can arrange a card collection at the office, or a plan to exchange at the Christmas party instead? 

– Or instead of one-on-one greetings and cards, you could try organising a companywide collection for a charity or cause.  Instead of each person buying cards, why not create a companywide collection to give to a charity of choice using Collection Pot?
