Accessibility at Collection Pot 

This statement applies to www.collectionpot.com — the easy way to chip in together. Group gifting should work for everyone, whatever device, browser or assistive technology you use. 

Our commitment 

Everyone should be able to send a little joy. We believe group gifting should be accessible to as many people as possible — so we work to make sure you can create a Pot, chip in, and leave a message no matter how you browse. 

We've made good progress, and we know there's more to do. Accessibility isn't a one-off project for us: we keep testing, listening and improving as the site grows.

Our approach 

We aim to build Collection Pot to be accessible by design — thinking about how a page works for everyone as we build it, rather than fixing things afterwards. 

We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA — the standard used across the UK and Europe, including under the European Accessibility Act. Our design and engineering teams work to these guidelines whenever we create or change a page. 

We test as we go, using both automated checks and manual testing with a keyboard and screen readers, so problems are caught early. 

How accessible we are 

Here's what we've built into Collection Pot to make it work for you: 

• Keyboard navigation. Operate menus, links, buttons and forms using only a keyboard, with a clear outline showing wherever you land. 
• Screen reader support. Logical headings, labels and landmarks so screen readers such as NVDA, VoiceOver and Narrator can describe each page. 
• Zoom and magnification. Read comfortably at up to 200% zoom with nothing cut off or overlapping. 
• Reflow on small screens. Pages rearrange into a single column down to 320px wide, with no side-to-side scrolling. 
• Colour and contrast. Text and controls meet WCAG AA contrast, and colour is never the only way we signal something. 
• Clear forms and error messages. Visible labels that stay on screen, a logical tab order, and plain-language error messages right next to the field that needs attention. 
• No time pressure. We don't put you on a clock. If a time limit is ever needed for security, we warn you first and give you a simple way to extend it.
• Privacy with assistive technology. Assistive tools work without sharing extra personal data, and your information stays protected.
