Do I need to create an account to contribute to a Pot?
Anyone may contribute to a Collection Pot without creating an account. However, in creating an account, any previous contributions will be logged to your account and grant you the ability to edit any recent messages. It also saves you from having to set up an account when you receive a Pot in the future!
Is the amount I contribute visible?
Your contribution amount will only be visible to the Pot owners. Pot owners may also choose to keep the total amount raised in the Pot hidden from public, they can turn this function on or off in Pot settings.
Is there a card processing fee?
Yes. When contributing to a Pot you will be asked to add 1.9% plus 20p to your contribution to cover the cost of the card processing fee. We ask that you do this to ensure your entire intended contribution amount goes to the recipient.
Why am I asked to add a top-up to my contribution?
We ask contributors to add an optional top-up to their contribution for two reasons. Firstly, we use it to cover the cost of card processing fees. Secondly, it supports the running of our platform and supporting our mission of celebrating the people and stories behind every Pot. By adding a top-up of at least the 1.9% + 20p card processing fee, your entire contribution amount goes to the intended recipient without any deductions.
Can I extend a Pot's closing date?
Yes. You may extend the Pot’s closing date in Pot settings.

What can be customised on my Collection Pot?
Choose when and where the Pot is going to be sent, swap out our images for some of your own and then choose your Pot description! Lastly, get your gratitude out there early and write a message that will be sent out to each contributor.
What the difference between a Standard Pot and a Set Amount Pot?
When using a Standard Pot, any contribution is welcome, as long as it is over £1. Our Set Amount Pots are most commonly used for events like stag parties and hen do’s where each guest has a fixed amount to pay.
What does it cost to create a Pot?
It is totally free to create and redeem a Collection Pot.
Will the recipient know I have set up a Pot for them?
If you choose to send the Pot to someone else and enter their details, we will not contact them until the Pot has closed at the time set. Alternatively, you can close the Pot and delay that first email being sent to the recipient for up to 24 hours.
What is a Collection Pot?
A Collection Pot can be used for any occasion whether you want to pool money for a friend's birthday gift, gather resources for a departing colleague, or raise funds for a charitable cause. Invite contributors via email, social media, and your track progress to the target!
Will my Pot appear in search engines?
No. Your Pot will have its own unique URL which you can only be shared by sending the Pot link or QR code with others.
Can I close a Pot early?

Can I extend a Pot's closing date?

Where can I spend a Collection Pot?
Once the Pot is closed, the Pot’s balance can be withdrawn directly to the recipient’s bank, spent with one of our 60+ gift cards providers or even given to charity in whole or in part.
Can I split the balance?
Yes. A Pot’s balance can be redeemed between multiple bank accounts, gift cards and or charity – it is entirely up to you!
How long do I have to spend my Pot?
A Collection Pot will remain redeemable for 6 months from the date of closure, before the Pot is refunded back to contributors. We will attempt to remind the Pot owner or recipient to ensure that this doesn’t happen!
Can I withdraw my Pot to a bank account?
United Kingdom
Pots can be instantly transferred to almost all bank accounts, free of charge. Unfortunately, we currently cannot accept Chase and Citi Bank cards or any corporate debit cards for instant transfer. Funds usually reach your account in seconds, with the exception of users who bank with Santander or the Co-Operative Bank, where typically the transfer can take up to 24 hours.
Ireland & Italy
Pots can be transferred to a bank account, free of charge when provided with an IBAN. Transfers are processed instantly, however, please leave up to 24 hours for the funds to arrive in your account. For security purposes, we will require you to complete an identity check prior to completing the transfer using an official photo ID such as a driving licence or passport.
Australia
Pots can be transferred to a bank account, free of charge when provided with a BSB and Account Number. Transfers are processed instantly, however, it can take up to 2 days for the funds to arrive in your account. For security purposes, we will require you to complete an identity check prior to completing the transfer using an official photo ID such as a driving licence or passport.
New Zealand
Pots can be transferred to a bank account, free of charge when provided with a SWIFT/BIC code. Transfers are processed instantly, however, it can take up to 2 days for the funds to arrive in your account. For security purposes, we will require you to complete an identity check prior to completing the transfer using an official photo ID such as a driving licence or passport.
